Messaging for the Middleman

Messaging is a wonderful tool at our disposal that traditionally allows

- to integrate internal systems together - replace part of legacy systems - to integrate with 3rd parties

In a IT context where everyone is talking about and struggling to use and build distributed applications, (micro)services, CQRS, Event Sourcing, IOT, messaging is becoming more and more important. But there are assumptions we make about messaging and they influence the Business * all messages are equal * network never fails * security * ... This talk will cover some of these assumptions & provide first hand experience on how these assumptions had sometimes a positive , but more importantly, a negative impact due to different kind of failures in systems. Some of them will be demonstrated & corrected using NServiceBus.
