Securing your web app with IdentityServer4

Since the release of .NET Core 2.0, the guys at ThinkTecture have been busy to upgrade IdentityServer and related packages. Now that they’re available, it’s time to see how we can use IdentityServer4 to set up our own security token service in ASP.NET Core and use it to protect a Web API and MVC client. To make it more interesting, we’ll integrate ASP.NET Identity and EF Core as well, to protect the user data and store everything (users, client configuration and other operational data) in a SQL database.
