The evolution of C# and JavaScript

JavaScript hasn't stopped growing since the long anticipated ECMAScript 2015 update. We'll cover the releases since then, including, for example, the addition of async/await in 2017. In 2016 Bart De Smet talked at VISUG about the upcoming C# 7 features. We'll take it from there to see what has been added to C# in its subsequent 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 releases. We'll also have a look at releases to come with some interesting JavaScript and C# proposals that are likely to be added to the languages in the near future.
